Baby Bibs!!

FINALLY! I have been waiting to make these bibs for a few months now. I knew I wanted to make Henna and Ian’s baby something and decided on bibs, but had to wait until they had “the nug” so I knew if it was a girl or a boy. I originally wanted to make the bibs unisex so I was going to make them early anyway, and then I thought it would be really nice to make them personalized with the baby’s name on it. So finally, a beautiful little girl arrived on March 2nd. Congratulations to the luckiest parents, Ian and Henna, and the luckiest baby in the world, Laila Elise Pryor. I’m so glad you loved these bibs!

Here are some pictures, click on them to enlarge.

Hi, Palak – I am a friend of Jenn Sagar’s mother and met you in El Paso. Adele told me about your blog site and I love it. I am an artist and I love to cook. Today is Thursday, 1 April. On http://www.marthastewart.com today on her blog there is information about a sewing demonstration at Martha Stewart’s office in New York tonight. It’s $30 and you will receive her new sewing book. I hope you get this message in time and are able to go. If not, the book looks interesting for you and for me. Take care. Sharon Kern sharonart30@swbell.net

  2. Thank you so much Mrs. Kern! If I lived in NY I would most definitely have had gone to that.. I’m in school now though and am so busy! I may not be able to even update much this next year, but in the meantime, I may just buy Martha’s book and check it out. Thanks again!

    Hello Palak,
I am a second year FCS teacher in Texas and this will be my 1st year to teach Fashion Design. I am looking for ideas for my students to sew in class and also to use as a community service project. I googled baby bibs and came across your project. I think this would be awesome to do in the classroom. Semi easy, yet still fun. Do you have a template that you follow to create the bibs, or did you just make it up as you went? Let me know if I can get some info from you.
    Thanks a bunch,
    Mrs. Walker
